Sol Campbell is a former England Football Captain and Leadership Speaker, with experience spanning performance, resilience, leadership and teamwork. Campbell, aged 18, played for FA Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. In his 255 appearances, Sol scored 10 goals and captained the team to victory in the 1999 Football League Cup Final against Premier League side Leicester City. In 2001, he controversially joined Arsenal, Tottenham’s North London rivals. In his five years at Arsenal, he won numerous accolades and he was part of the team that became known as ‘The Invincibles’ for their undefeated 2003–04 Premier League campaign. In 1998, aged 23 years, Campbell became England’s second-youngest captain after Bobby Moore.
