How payments work
- Bookers pay directly into your Stripe account (or your agency's, if you're managed).
- StageSide's 5% fee and Stripe's card processing are taken automatically from each payment.
- Stripe pays out to your bank on your normal Stripe schedule.
- StageSide never holds your booking money.
What you'll need
Individual talent
- Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
- Date of birth and home address
- Bank details (sort code and account number, or IBAN)
Agencies
- Company registration number and registered address
- Business bank details
- Legal name, date of birth and address of a director or owner
- Photo ID for that person
You enter all of this on Stripe's secure page. StageSide never sees or stores your ID documents or bank details.
Step by step
- Go to Payouts in your dashboard and tap Connect payouts.
- Stripe opens. Create or sign in to your Stripe account and fill in the details it asks for.
- You're sent back to StageSide. When the status says Ready, you can accept offers.
- If it says Stripe is checking your details, wait a few minutes and tap Refresh.
Agencies
One Stripe account covers your whole roster. Bookings for managed talent are paid into the agency account, so managed talent don't need to connect their own. A director or owner needs to complete Stripe's checks.
Troubleshooting
- Stripe needs more information: the Payouts page lists what's missing. Tap Continue setup to add it.
- Document rejected: upload a clear, uncropped photo of an in-date ID.
- Changing your bank account: do this in your Stripe dashboard (Open Stripe on the Payouts page).
