Closing your account

Request account closure from Settings → Account. StageSide reviews the request before closing your account.

Go to Settings → Account, choose a reason under Close your account, and add anything else you want us to know. Select Request account closure and confirm.

We'll email you when we receive your request. An admin will review it — usually within a few days, always within 30 days. Until closure starts, you can select Cancel request in Settings.

Upcoming bookings must finish or be cancelled, offers waiting for a reply must be resolved, unpaid balances must be paid, and open problem reports must be settled. A booking's seven-day reporting window must also finish. Settings links to anything that needs your attention.

If we cannot close your account yet, we'll email you a note explaining why. Your account stays open, and you can request closure again once the issue is resolved.

When approved, we remove your public profile and its Matrix directory listing, withdraw outstanding applications and availability checks, close open gigs, cancel StageSide subscriptions so there are no further charges, and delete your profile photos and videos. Your sign-in account is closed and you are signed out everywhere. We'll email a confirmation. Account closure cannot be undone.

For agencies, unclaimed roster profiles are removed. Talent who claimed their own accounts keep those accounts, are detached from the agency, and receive an email. Existing contracts and payment records are unchanged.

We keep booking, contract and payment records for six years because the law requires it. Other people see Closed account, with no photo or profile link, in old bookings, conversations and reviews.
