Cancellation policies

Flexible, Moderate and Strict policies and how cancelling works.

Each contract carries the talent's cancellation policy: Flexible, Moderate or Strict (Moderate if none was chosen). If the booker cancels, the deposit is kept and they owe the policy's share of the total fee, rising to the full fee in the last 48 hours. If the talent cancels, or both sides agree to cancel, the booker is refunded.

Cancellation policies

If the booker cancels, the deposit is always kept. Any extra due is charged at cancellation; cancellation does not go through until it is paid. Payments already taken are not refunded, and any agreed buyout remains due. If the talent cancels, the booker is fully refunded. The contract records the agreed policy; if none was chosen, Moderate is the default.
