Freeman Osonuga

Freeman Osonuga is known as a Humanitarian, Medical Professional and Global Health Advocate, with experience spanning health, wellbeing and human performance. Freeman Olamide Osonuga is a Nigerian physician, real estate broker, humanitarian and international public speaker. He gained recognition in 2014 when he volunteered as part of the African Union response team, during the Ebola virus epidemic in Sierra Leone, for which he received a Time Magazine Person of the Year recognition in 2014 as part of the Ebola Fighters. In 2015, he was shortlisted alongside two other young leaders to win an all-expense paid trip to space organized by Kruger Crowne and One Young World, which would have made him the first Nigerian to go to space. Osonuga was born in Ijebu – Ode, Ogun State to father Olaide Thomas Osonuga, a taxi driver and mother Morenike Osonuga a petty trader.
