Paul Rosolie is known as an Amazon Conservationist, Explorer, Author and Junglekeepers Founder, with experience spanning conservation, sustainability and the natural world. He is an Author, Conservationist, Explorer and Founder of Junglekeepers. When he first set foot in the jungle, Paul Rosolie was a dyslexic kid from Brooklyn who struggled to graduate from high school but had an undeniable calling to the outdoors. He met the indigenous naturalist Juan Julio Durand, and together, they created Junglekeepers, an organisation that has found a way to halt deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest raising $15,000,000 to protect more than 150,000 acres – inspiring millions along the way through books, film and social media. But this work takes grit, and years in, Rosolie and Durand are past their “barefoot machete days,” grappling with chain saws, massive fires, illegal miners, and the worst of humanity.
